Emeterio Agriano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frances Llata's shot from short distance in the 2nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Barros Peralta in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Miro Cobides saved Quintana from getting behind. Dagoberto Sevillano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Barros Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Quintana's zone, Dagoberto Sevillano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Miro Cobides came out of the goal and Dagoberto Sevillano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Quintana's Miro Cobides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Barros Peralta in the 21st minute of play. In the 29th minute, Hechter Islañana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Frances Llata spun around in front of the goal 30 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Carbonero's goal. In the 43rd minute Frances Llata shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emeterio Agriano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jenaro Fominaya got free with Emeterio Agriano in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Quintana's Emeterio Agriano threw himself towards the right post 49 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Frances Llata, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Emeterio Agriano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frances Llata, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th match minute, Carbonero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casimiro Alcain to maneuver through the defense. Emeterio Agriano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jenaro Fominaya in the 60th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Frances Llata ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emeterio Agriano was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Carbonero's goalkeeper Emeterio Agriano, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jenaro Fominaya sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sal Calderon charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sal Calderon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frances Llata in the 90th minute of play forced Carbonero's goalkeeper Emeterio Agriano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Carbonero's goal looked a bit too open when Frances Llata came free, but Emeterio Agriano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quintana were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Carbonero for a fine match.
