The Carbonero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emeterio Agriano should have stopped the shot. Frascuelo Espinosa charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frascuelo Espinosa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frascuelo Espinosa hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. If Barros Peralta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Barros Peralta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iraitz Gaviña saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Miguez AFC got a freekick which was hit by Walme Tejeda. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Baumar Barraza during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 44 played minutes Miguez AFC got a freekick which was hit by Zarbonin Madrigal. Dagoberto Sevillano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iraitz Gaviña having to interfere.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 70 minutes into the match, Miguez AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dagoberto Sevillano came free, but Iraitz Gaviña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emeterio Agriano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zarbonin Madrigal in the 71st minute. In the 73rd minute, Barros Peralta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barros Peralta's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iraitz Gaviña read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. Iraitz Gaviña didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barros Peralta went, in the 83rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. After having played for 89 minutes, Zarbonin Madrigal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miguez AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zarbonin Madrigal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
