When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ermegildo Curiel made a kick off. If Ermegildo Curiel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 71st minute, Ermegildo Curiel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bela Durazo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carrasco's Oro Villayuste played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Curiel in the 77th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play Carrasco's Alejandro Lereira was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Oro Villayuste made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bela Durazo in the 81st minute. 96 minutes into the match, Ceibal AFC's Ermegildo Curiel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oro Villayuste narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
