Xaime Avienzo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monte Goyeneta in the 28th minute of play forced Caraballo's goalkeeper Xaime Avienzo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 88th minute of the match, Monte Goyeneta tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Xaime Avienzo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Migues FC's Luis-Antonio Vina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tallia Hoa in the 97th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caraballo had won after a very even match.
