Sayvion Vital made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Veremundo Altemiz in the 48th minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

During the 53rd minute of the match Servando Mijares completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Servando Mijares a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 53rd match minute, La boyada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Servando Mijares to maneuver through the defense. After 54 played minutes, Buricayupi's Martin Guillaumet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sayvion Vital came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Buricayupi reached it. Sayvion Vital showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Veremundo Altemiz in the 57th minute of the match. Ramiro Cardeiro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Sayvion Vital made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in La boyada's zone, Enol Viñambre stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sayvion Vital came out of the goal and Enol Viñambre tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Veremundo Altemiz in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sayvion Vital prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ramiro Cardeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 84 minutes into the match, La boyada's goal looked a bit too open when Veremundo Altemiz came free, but Sayvion Vital reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Ramiro Cardeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sayvion Vital made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Enol Viñambre sent off a good shot on target. In the 94th minute, Buricayupi's Maule Olaverrieta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sayvion Vital. Sayvion Vital yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. The La boyada fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Buricayupi were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
