An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Nicanor Sena got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 19th minute, Louis Santervas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Chayo Garro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Ladislao Presa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Chayo Garro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ladislao Presa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Txanton Cendegui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicanor Sena got free with Ramond Cerradelo in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Louis Santervas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Carmelo's Ramiro Porta got a free kick in the 65th minute. After having played for 68 minutes, Nicanor Sena managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vejigas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nicanor Sena was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chayo Garro made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Ladislao Presa sent off a good shot on target. Ramond Cerradelo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nicanor Sena went, in the 80th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Ladislao Presa might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Chayo Garro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ladislao Presa ran back to his position shaking his head. Chayo Garro made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Ladislao Presa sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Carmelo getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Rocendo Abuleta hit a great ball. Carmelo's Ramond Cerradelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Txanton Cendegui in the 93rd minute of play. Ramond Cerradelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Txanton Cendegui, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ladislao Presa got free with Chayo Garro in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chayo Garro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ladislao Presa's shot from short distance in the 97th minute. Vejigas's Chayo Garro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Louis Santervas in the 98th minute of play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
