Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Berbiz Espin kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. When Rozarius Cintron fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tapia FC's protests and gave Rozarius Cintron a yellow card for diving instead. When Ishmael Barreto came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Mederos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ishmael Barreto couldn't finish the play. Javiar Caceres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikolas Acacia in the 17th minute of the match. Nuxila Rendon made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Malvin Varona sent off a good shot on target. Ishmael Barreto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Javiar Caceres having to interfere. Mikolas Acacia scored 0-1 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Javiar Caceres, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute of the match, Manilan Arceo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nuxila Rendon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th minute, Sidro Lera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Mederos FC's Sidro Lera got a free kick in the 29th minute. Mederos FC's Nuxila Rendon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save Mederos FC from getting a goal against them. In the 40thth minute of the game Ishmael Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tapia FC's Javiar Caceres was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ishmael Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Javiar Caceres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baiarte Noceda hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Mederos FC's Mikolas Acacia got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Manilan Arceo made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Mederos FC's zone, Manilan Arceo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nuxila Rendon came out of the goal and Manilan Arceo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manilan Arceo in the 54th minute of play forced Mederos FC's goalkeeper Nuxila Rendon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the game, Sidro Lera was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Mederos FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapia FC the free kick. Nuxila Rendon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malvin Varona in the 57th minute of the match. Mikolas Acacia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malvin Varona received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Nuxila Rendon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute Manilan Arceo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nuxila Rendon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ishmael Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Javiar Caceres read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Malvin Varona in the 76th minute of play forced Mederos FC's goalkeeper Nuxila Rendon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Mederos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Malvin Varona came free, but Nuxila Rendon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Mikolas Acacia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Javiar Caceres was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Nuxila Rendon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malvin Varona, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 95th minute, Malvin Varona made a precise shot to the right of Nuxila Rendon. Mederos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. The Mederos FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mederos FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
