Spectators: 6692 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 0) Mataojito's Lordi Peruyera started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Xines Horihuela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artur Anda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roger Capa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Xines Horihuela tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sergio Osas's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Xines Horihuela firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Sergio Osas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Orlanda Alamea came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Abayuba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlanda Alamea couldn't finish the play. Orlanda Alamea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xines Horihuela having to interfere. The supporters of Mataojito booed when Abayuba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artur Anda didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artur Anda charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artur Anda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 17th match minute, Abayuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Artur Anda to maneuver through the defense. Abayuba's Roldanillo Balli played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lordi Peruyera in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Orlanda Alamea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesar Trespuentes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roldanillo Balli having to interfere. Roldanillo Balli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lordi Peruyera in the 30th minute of play. After 33 minutes of play, Mataojito's Cesar Trespuentes made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roldanillo Balli was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Abayuba's goalkeeper Roldanillo Balli, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sesuldo Salais fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roldanillo Balli having to interfere. Lordi Peruyera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesar Trespuentes in the 42nd minute of play forced Abayuba's goalkeeper Roldanillo Balli to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Lordi Peruyera struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Roldanillo Balli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mataojito. After 45 minutes of play, Mataojito's Cesar Trespuentes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Roldanillo Balli was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Orlanda Alamea was the one to do the kick off. Tximitx Garizabal struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Roldanillo Balli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mataojito. 53 minutes into the game, Diegotxe Leys was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Abayuba's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Mataojito the free kick. In the 53rd match minute, Abayuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diegotxe Leys to maneuver through the defense. Cesar Trespuentes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 59th match minute, Mataojito was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lordi Peruyera to maneuver through the defense. After 62 minutes, Tximitx Garizabal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mataojito and the Abayuba players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 63rd minute Orlanda Alamea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xines Horihuela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, Lordi Peruyera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sergio Osas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lordi Peruyera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Mataojito players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
