Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Mikelats Alen started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd minute of the match Leoiar Maestu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ederono Llamazares skillfully saved the ball. Lizar Olaverrieta hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Geleberto Alfeiran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ederono Llamazares having to interfere. Iliana Moroño's late challenge caught a Riffo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iliana Moroño helped the player get up and apologised. 13 minutes into the match, Tala's goal looked a bit too open when Mikelats Alen came free, but Valiente Berriz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valiente Berriz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cris Villaspasa in the 14th minute of play. Leoiar Maestu kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Txema Gou might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ederono Llamazares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Txema Gou ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 24 minutes, Mikelats Alen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riffo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikelats Alen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Elvio Toledano fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tala's protests and gave Elvio Toledano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 32nd match minute, Tala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elvio Toledano to maneuver through the defense. Geleberto Alfeiran struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Ederono Llamazares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tala. If Txema Gou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Txema Gou struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. The wind increased when Txema Gou made the kick off in the second half. Cris Villaspasa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cris Villaspasa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valiente Berriz having to make a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Tala's Txema Gou slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ederono Llamazares. That made the score 0-2 after 74 minutes of play. Valiente Berriz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cris Villaspasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Valiente Berriz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikelats Alen's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After 82 played minutes Tala got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Toledano. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Mikelats Alen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Riffo AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mikelats Alen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valiente Berriz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Leoiar Maestu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Geleberto Alfeiran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Tala could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Riffo AFC throughout the match.
