Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gorka Monzon kicked off to start the match. Formerio Jaen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odilon Pinilla having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Fabio Quejura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Eucaliptus AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio Quejura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Natalio Puigdellivol breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Patricio Prellezo kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Humberto Teza missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 17 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Odilon Pinilla right hand side. If Formerio Jaen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Fabio Quejura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 26 minutes, Fabio Quejura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eucaliptus AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabio Quejura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Formerio Jaen in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Odilon Pinilla saved Eucaliptus AFC from getting behind. Gerazan Goxenola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Itapebi's Gerazan Goxenola got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Eucaliptus AFC's Odilon Pinilla got control of the ball when Walme Carnero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Formerio Jaen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Odilon Pinilla having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gerazan Goxenola got free with Odilon Pinilla in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th match minute, Eucaliptus AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabio Quejura to maneuver through the defense. Eucaliptus AFC's Odilon Pinilla played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Formerio Jaen in the 65th minute of play. 66 minutes into the game, Rumaldo Riba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eucaliptus AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Itapebi the free kick. After 66 played minutes Eucaliptus AFC got a freekick which was hit by Rumaldo Riba. Fabio Quejura blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Natalio Puigdellivol having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Eucaliptus AFC's Oihenarte Lorca got a free kick in the 69th minute. Odilon Pinilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Formerio Jaen in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Itapebi's goal looked a bit too open when Gorka Monzon came free, but Natalio Puigdellivol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Odilon Pinilla was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Formerio Jaen capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Formerio Jaen really showed his touch with that goal: 0-1. The Itapebi supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Itapebi would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
