Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gervaso Rancaño started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Clodoveo Jerrold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demetrio Antezana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 11th match minute, Montevideo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Villaboa to maneuver through the defense. Cristian Baldonado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rik Ladrada having to interfere. 15 minutes into the game, Misael Yurre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Montevideo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fanbeba the free kick. In the 18th minute there was a penalty for Fanbeba. Clodoveo Jerrold stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Demetrio Antezana. 0-2. Silviano Llantada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Antezana having to interfere. In the 24th minute, Clodoveo Jerrold ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Demetrio Antezana was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Demetrio Antezana showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Mocanu in the 36th minute of the match. Victor Cañon's late challenge caught a Montevideo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Cañon helped the player get up and apologised. Victor Cañon hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Dinu Mocanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Demetrio Antezana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the game, Fanbeba's Clodoveo Jerrold nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Demetrio Antezana made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clodoveo Jerrold to make the kick off. Demetrio Antezana made an important save on a dangerous shot by Clodoveo Jerrold in the 53rd minute. If Dinu Mocanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Montevideo booed when Fanbeba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Cañon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes, Montevideo's Steven Peroria shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rik Ladrada came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Montevideo reached it. After 61 played minutes Montevideo got a freekick which was hit by Chorache Cerillo. In the 64th minute, Clodoveo Jerrold fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Montevideo's zone, Clodoveo Jerrold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Antezana came out of the goal and Clodoveo Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Fanbeba booed when Montevideo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Guillen Delgado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clodoveo Jerrold fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demetrio Antezana having to interfere. Fanbeba made a substitution. Lucio Veladiez replaced Victor Cañon. Fanbeba's Clodoveo Jerrold got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Montevideo's Demetrio Antezana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Montevideo from getting a goal against them. Clodoveo Jerrold sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Montevideo's zone, Clodoveo Jerrold stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Demetrio Antezana came out of the goal and Clodoveo Jerrold tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 94 minutes into the match, Fanbeba's goal looked a bit too open when Gervaso Rancaño came free, but Rik Ladrada reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rik Ladrada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gervaso Rancaño, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle sounded Fanbeba left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Montevideo.
