Spectators: 6801 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 100) Barker's Eloi Lamarta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eloi Lamarta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Jeremy Alcolea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ieltxu Moneo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yago Aceves having to interfere. Yago Aceves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Batista Asturias's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. After 11 played minutes Barker got a freekick which was hit by Viator Guillamon. Batista Asturias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Viator Guillamon charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Viator Guillamon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 14th minute, Viator Guillamon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When progreso's Batista Asturias in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barker's goalie prevented a goal. Batista Asturias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yago Aceves having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Barker's goal looked a bit too open when Batista Asturias came free, but Yago Aceves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ieltxu Moneo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yago Aceves having to make a save. Jeremy Alcolea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Garaile Esqueda in the 35th minute of the match. Yago Aceves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batista Asturias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloi Lamarta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Alcolea having to interfere. Eloi Lamarta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Batista Asturias to make the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Barker was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basilio Palos to maneuver through the defense. When Barker's Eloi Lamarta in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye progreso's goalie prevented a goal. Jeremy Alcolea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in progreso's zone, Garaile Esqueda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeremy Alcolea came out of the goal and Garaile Esqueda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eloi Lamarta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Jeremy Alcolea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 74 minutes, Eloi Lamarta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barker's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eloi Lamarta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Barker's Garaile Esqueda got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Eloi Lamarta reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Jeremy Alcolea. The goal made the score 0-2. The supporters of progreso booed when Barker was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viator Guillamon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dacio Alvaro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Yago Aceves having to make a save. After 88 played minutes progreso got a freekick which was hit by Betadur Bugarin. Jeremy Alcolea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eloi Lamarta, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. If Eloi Lamarta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Garaile Esqueda's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremy Alcolea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. Ieltxu Moneo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
