Spectators: 6694 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Firmo Pinillos took the kick off in the first half of the match. 2 minutes into the match, Carmelo's goal looked a bit too open when Segio Puntones came free, but Xurde Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segio Puntones sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Telo Lera came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Centro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Telo Lera couldn't finish the play. Xurde Sousa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Segio Puntones in the 9th minute of play. Xurde Sousa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Telo Lera went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 17 minutes into the match, Carmelo's goal looked a bit too open when Telo Lera came free, but Xurde Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Centro FC's Uxio Riopedre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Firmo Pinillos in the 20th minute of play. When Neto Vasquez fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carmelo's protests and gave Neto Vasquez a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Carmelo got a freekick which was hit by Neto Vasquez. Cordarrel Anel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Uxio Riopedre having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, Segio Puntones managed to get in a good position for a shot. Centro FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Segio Puntones was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Xurde Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neto Vasquez struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Uxio Riopedre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Carmelo. Carmelo's Neto Vasquez got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 43rd minute of the match, Firmo Pinillos tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Uxio Riopedre saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carmelo fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 44th minute. Penalty! After the first half Centro FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Segio Puntones was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Carmelo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gonzo Mijares to maneuver through the defense. Uxio Riopedre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordarrel Anel, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Carmelo's zone, Segio Puntones stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Xurde Sousa came out of the goal and Segio Puntones tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Centro FC booed when Carmelo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Neto Vasquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Telo Lera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the game, Baraquiel Piega was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Centro FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Carmelo the free kick. In the 71st minute of the match Gonzo Mijares shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Uxio Riopedre showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Centro FC's zone, Geraldo Andolz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Uxio Riopedre came out of the goal and Geraldo Andolz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Centro FC's Uxio Riopedre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordarrel Anel in the 82nd minute of play. The Centro FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Centro FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
