Mosquitos AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Edorta Pino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jobo Chaniz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Geraldo Zotillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lluis Curueño having to interfere. If Geraldo Zotillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Geraldo Zotillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lluis Curueño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Geraldo Zotillo in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lluis Curueño saved Mosquitos AFC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Sacramento FC's Rene Ser slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lluis Curueño. That made the score 1-1 after 89 minutes of play. Lluis Curueño made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Geraldo Zotillo sent off a good shot on target. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
