Carmelo Late Aurinegro's Damario Aeta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colon Mendiguren in the 12th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Quico Proenza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buricayupi's supporters rose to their feet, but Quico Proenza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damario Aeta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joseba Raedo charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joseba Raedo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Buricayupi getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Joseba Raedo hit a great ball. In the 18th minute of the match Leobardo Sator sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Damario Aeta skillfully saved the ball. In the 20th minute, Errapel Colomines fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Itzaina Gabirondo, passed just outside the right post. Buricayupi's Itzaina Gabirondo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Buricayupi from getting a goal against them. In the 29th minute Nicanor Estrada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Itzaina Gabirondo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Carmelo Late Aurinegro's Nicanor Estrada ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Itzaina Gabirondo. Itzaina Gabirondo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After 42 minutes, Colon Mendiguren made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Carmelo Late Aurinegro's Damario Aeta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Damario Aeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Colon Mendiguren, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The Carmelo Late Aurinegro players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Buricayupi were winning 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicanor Estrada to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpected shot in the 58th minute by Quico Proenza got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Errapel Colomines in the 61st minute of play forced Buricayupi's goalkeeper Itzaina Gabirondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Itzaina Gabirondo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Estrada in the 66th minute of the match. In the 88thth minute of the game Colon Mendiguren who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Carmelo Late Aurinegro's Damario Aeta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Carmelo Late Aurinegro's Zoil Sebastian got a free kick in the 88th minute. Damario Aeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colon Mendiguren in the 90th minute of the match. Buricayupi's Quico Proenza got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Buricayupi's Colon Mendiguren in 94 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Damario Aeta guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Buricayupi walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
