The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When the match had gone on for 6 minutes, Quico Proenza put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Feliu Tartales. In the 18th minute, Colon Mendiguren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Colon Mendiguren received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Feliu Tartales tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. WANDERERS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 28th minute, when Colon Mendiguren scored to the left of an out of position Feliu Tartales, making the score, 2-0. Colon Mendiguren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Itzaina Gabirondo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nisio Obaldia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 minutes, Manel Redondo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the WANDERERS and the Buricayupi players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 43rd minute, Manel Redondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leobardo Sator, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Buricayupi's Itzaina Gabirondo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nisio Obaldia in the 70th minute of play. Colon Mendiguren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliu Tartales having to interfere. Ubelteso Centeñes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valentine Deco kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. WANDERERS's Berdoi Berda couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 89th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Buricayupi. Nisio Obaldia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Itzaina Gabirondo having to interfere. Buricayupi's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
