When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fidencio Padura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes of play, Ahogados's Munio Cue made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damario Aeta was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 55th match minute, Ahogados was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by John Almenara to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute Munio Cue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damario Aeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Fidencio Padura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Xerardo Villaño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Estrada in the 64th minute of the match. Munio Cue sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ahogados's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
