After 19 played minutes Francisco Terrazas rounded Curtina AFC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. 22 minutes into the match, Victorio Padolles had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Andy Trevino. Curtina AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victorio Padolles was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Curtina AFC's Andy Trevino proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Curtina AFC from getting a goal against them. Joaquim Santa hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Andy Trevino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Terrazas in the 27th minute of play. Victorio Padolles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Andy Trevino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes, Demesio Candina mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Curtina AFC and the Maguna FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th minute, Demesio Candina hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nacho Vadillo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldovino Dega's shot from short distance in the 35th minute. Nacho Vadillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leon Elcano in the 36th minute of the match. Nacho Vadillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baldovino Dega in the 38th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Curtina AFC's goalkeeper Andy Trevino had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victorio Padolles. 48 minutes into the match, Leon Elcano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nacho Vadillo. Maguna FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leon Elcano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

In the 57th minute, Curtina AFC got a penalty, and Jeraldo Aldasoro placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. 64 minutes into the game, Fertus Mecaur was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curtina AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Maguna FC the free kick. Jeraldo Aldasoro kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Francisco Terrazas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maguna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Terrazas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Andy Trevino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Curtina AFC booed when Maguna FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Licerio Quemada didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Leon Elcano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nacho Vadillo. In the 86th minute, Camerino Perdomo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 93 played minutes Curtina AFC got a freekick which was hit by Joaquim Santa. In the 95th minute Baldovino Dega shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Vadillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 97 minutes of play, Maguna FC's Francisco Terrazas made it 4-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
