Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sebastian Cigüenza got the match started through his kick off. The audience was convinced that Timoteo Sarmanton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edgardo Mendana was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Edgardo Mendana took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Timoteo Sarmanton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute, Anaya Ocampo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Timoteo Sarmanton struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Edgardo Mendana didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferreira FC. Luciano Durango kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. When Timoteo Sarmanton came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Ferreira FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Timoteo Sarmanton couldn't finish the play. Edgardo Mendana made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Iratze Ponga sent off a good shot on target. In the 36th minute of the match, Iratze Ponga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Edgardo Mendana was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 37 minutes into the match, Canelones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Timoteo Sarmanton came free, but Edgardo Mendana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Timoteo Sarmanton who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Edgardo Mendana when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Canelones FC defense, Iratze Ponga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgardo Mendana. The Canelones FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgardo Mendana should have stopped the shot. Cebrian Entero hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Timoteo Sarmanton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 62nd minute, Filipe Rodrigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dagoberto Fortis took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edgardo Mendana. Canelones FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Canelones FC's zone, Timoteo Sarmanton stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgardo Mendana came out of the goal and Timoteo Sarmanton tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 76 minutes, Anaya Ocampo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Canelones FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anaya Ocampo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 81 minutes into the match, Ferreira FC's Iratze Ponga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgardo Mendana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Timoteo Sarmanton in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edgardo Mendana prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Timoteo Sarmanton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgardo Mendana having to interfere. Timoteo Sarmanton took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edgardo Mendana. Edgardo Mendana dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee ended the match the Ferreira FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
