After 5 played minutes Oriental La Paz got a freekick which was hit by Lazcano Raon. 14 minutes into the match, Oriental La Paz's goal looked a bit too open when Cruz Yecora came free, but Bruno Benitua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Benitua showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cruz Yecora, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Cruz Yecora notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Oriental La Paz's Bruno Benitua. Bruno Benitua was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th minute, Gaitan Valdivielso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bruno Benitua showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cruz Yecora in the 31st minute of the match. Bruno Benitua stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cruz Yecora's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Cleto Abello kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cruz Yecora's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bruno Benitua was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. In the 36th minute, Seber Ibarzabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oriental La Paz's Bruno Benitua played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ur Yanes in the 37th minute of play. Oriental La Paz's Cleto Abello got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mantzio Lejobeitia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cruz Yecora in the 56th minute of play forced Oriental La Paz's goalkeeper Bruno Benitua to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Birjaio Tocos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With an all-out effort, PITIN FC's Bruno Benitua threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Cruz Yecora, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cruz Yecora got free with Bruno Benitua in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gaitan Valdivielso came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the PITIN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaitan Valdivielso couldn't finish the play. Cleto Abello was shown his second yellow card after 87 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of PITIN FC booed when Oriental La Paz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cleto Abello didn't get a good kick on the ball. Prospero Bernal charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Prospero Bernal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 93rd minute, Seber Ibarzabal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match was over PITIN FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Oriental La Paz throughout the match.
