Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Quintin Gos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidensio Cimbrelo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnoldo Melon got free with Ronaldo Torrens in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Quintin Gos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Soin Trueba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Quintin Gos came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Vejigas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Quintin Gos couldn't finish the play. Fidensio Cimbrelo came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Vejigas's Soin Trueba. But to his dismay, Soin Trueba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Arnoldo Melon was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 24th minute. Aguila's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Quintan Menoyo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Soin Trueba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vejigas's Soin Trueba got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Aguila players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vejigas were winning 0-1.

Fidensio Cimbrelo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quintin Gos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Vejigas booed when Aguila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ugutz Landaluce didn't get a good kick on the ball. Soin Trueba's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fidensio Cimbrelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Jesco Bierna had to leave the field with a concussion. Jon Ungia's late challenge caught a Aguila's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jon Ungia helped the player get up and apologised. Jon Ungia hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Jose Carrozal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidensio Cimbrelo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fidensio Cimbrelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Quintin Gos, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Aguila's goal looked a bit too open when Quintin Gos came free, but Fidensio Cimbrelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Quintin Gos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over Vejigas could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Aguila throughout the match.
