The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Melo's Tercero Sasiain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fliz Randoli in the 7th minute of play. 12 minutes into the match, Gora Seral had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tercero Sasiain. Melo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gora Seral was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 15th minute, Fliz Randoli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 15 minutes into the match, Melo's goal looked a bit too open when Hartz Yaner came free, but Tercero Sasiain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bengochea10 getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Luke Irizarry hit a great ball. When Victor Yebra came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Melo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Yebra couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Hartz Yaner got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Fliz Randoli ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tercero Sasiain was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 46th minute, Hartz Yaner ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tercero Sasiain was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. After the first half Bengochea10 were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Oroitz Cabrerizo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Oroitz Cabrerizo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Melo's supporters rose to their feet, but Oroitz Cabrerizo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benicio Villafaña breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Victor Yebra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bengochea10's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Melo the free kick. Luke Irizarry kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Oroitz Cabrerizo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benicio Villafaña showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Yebra in the 69th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bengochea10's zone, Oroitz Cabrerizo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benicio Villafaña came out of the goal and Oroitz Cabrerizo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Melo's Erauso Carmeneses pulled a muscle in his leg after 72 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 72 minutes, Claude Caruezo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bengochea10 and the Melo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 73 played minutes Bengochea10 got a freekick which was hit by Claude Caruezo. If Fliz Randoli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fliz Randoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tercero Sasiain having to interfere. After 80 minutes, Fliz Randoli made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Melo's Tercero Sasiain tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 85th minute, Victor Yebra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fliz Randoli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tercero Sasiain having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Bengochea10's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Yebra came free, but Benicio Villafaña reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Bengochea10 supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bengochea10 would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
