Ysidro Canto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zabal Leston went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 10th minute, Severino Trasgallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Rik Villar managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guadalupe's supporters rose to their feet, but Rik Villar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sergio Castellvi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 21 minutes into the match, Guadalupe's goal looked a bit too open when Zabal Leston came free, but Ysidro Canto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roano Frejon took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ysidro Canto. Ysidro Canto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 29th match minute, Guadalupe was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rigoberto Migolla to maneuver through the defense. Sergio Castellvi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rigoberto Migolla in the 32nd minute of the match. Roano Frejon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ysidro Canto having to make a save. In the 37thth minute of the game Zabal Leston who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guadalupe's Ysidro Canto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Conrado Benito kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ysidro Canto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zabal Leston's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. When Zadornin Portero fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guadalupe's protests and gave Zadornin Portero a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Polanco booed when Guadalupe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zadornin Portero didn't get a good kick on the ball. 46 minutes into the match, Guadalupe's Rik Villar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sergio Castellvi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 47 played minutes Polanco got a freekick which was hit by Severino Trasgallo. After the first half Polanco were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zabal Leston made a kick off. In the 56th minute, Roano Frejon made a precise shot to the right of Ysidro Canto. Guadalupe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Rigoberto Migolla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Sergio Castellvi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute of the match, Zabal Leston tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ysidro Canto saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Severino Trasgallo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Ysidro Canto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 69 minutes into the game, Roano Frejon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Ysidro Canto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sergio Castellvi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rik Villar's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. If Zabal Leston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roano Frejon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sergio Castellvi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Migolla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Polanco's Zabal Leston, in the 98th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Polanco. Polanco played a much better game than Guadalupe and deserved their victory. The Guadalupe players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
