Jerold Dorrial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Montes Brau in the 5th minute of play. Donatello Legazpi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Gondian having to interfere. Geleberto Norzagaray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jerold Dorrial tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Donatello Legazpi scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carmelo Gondian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Montes Brau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jerold Dorrial having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Uzuri Dehesa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute Montes Brau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerold Dorrial saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Geleberto Norzagaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Soriano's Eutor Cela suffered a sore thigh after 32 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Cuaro's Uzuri Dehesa got his second yellow card of the match in the 32nd minute. The referee ordered Uzuri Dehesa off the ground. After 33 played minutes Cuaro got a freekick which was hit by Uzuri Dehesa. If Donatello Legazpi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Cordeal Begal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cuaro's supporters rose to their feet, but Cordeal Begal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Gondian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half Cuaro were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Donatello Legazpi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Cuaro's Donatello Legazpi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. Jerold Dorrial made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geleberto Norzagaray in the 61st minute of play. Donatello Legazpi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Carmelo Gondian made a huge save. 68 minutes into the game, Soriano's Geleberto Norzagaray nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jerold Dorrial made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Carmelo Gondian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donatello Legazpi in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the game, Montes Brau was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Soriano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cuaro the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Soriano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Montes Brau to maneuver through the defense. Donatello Legazpi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carmelo Gondian having to interfere. Cordeal Begal hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Cuaro defense, Geleberto Norzagaray kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jerold Dorrial. The Cuaro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jerold Dorrial should have stopped the shot. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
