Spectators: 6695 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Montes Brau got the match started through his kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Echeverry's goal looked a bit too open when Montes Brau came free, but Quique Montemayor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geleberto Norzagaray received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Quique Montemayor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Montes Brau recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 16 played minutes Echeverry got a freekick which was hit by Quinton Vergara. In the 18th match minute, Echeverry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saturnino Seron to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raul Carvajal in the 21st minute of play forced Soriano's goalkeeper Carmelo Gondian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Quique Montemayor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geleberto Norzagaray in the 31st minute. After having played for 36 minutes, Raul Carvajal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Echeverry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raul Carvajal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Soriano's zone, Raul Carvajal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Carmelo Gondian came out of the goal and Raul Carvajal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Laffitte Frances sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Soriano's Carmelo Gondian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Soriano from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Laffitte Frances managed to get in a good position for a shot. Echeverry's supporters rose to their feet, but Laffitte Frances was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carmelo Gondian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Geleberto Norzagaray had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Montes Brau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Geleberto Norzagaray blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Quique Montemayor having to make a save. A collision led to Echeverry getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Alberto Forcelledo hit a great ball. Montes Brau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quique Montemayor having to interfere. Montes Brau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Soriano's Carmelo Gondian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raul Carvajal in the 82nd minute of play. Soriano's Carmelo Gondian proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Soriano from getting a goal against them. Geleberto Norzagaray sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Laffitte Frances had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.
