In the 11th minute, Nemesio Achiaga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lisandro Titos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Alessandro Paoletti tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 16 minutes, Oinaz Fresnos made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Cerro Largo F. C.'s Mambru Cotilla tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 20th match minute, Cerro Largo F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clis Montes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Oinaz Fresnos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A. PADOES's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oinaz Fresnos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 23rd match minute, C.A. PADOES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nemesio Achiaga to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 26th minute by Oinaz Fresnos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 33 minutes into the match, C.A. PADOES's goal looked a bit too open when Rai Tizon came free, but Alessandro Paoletti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Cerro Largo F. C.'s corner Rey Polo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alessandro Paoletti quite easily take care of the ball. Alessandro Paoletti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rai Tizon in the 36th minute of the match. In the 39th minute, Xuban Zaitegui left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cerro Largo F. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. In the 47th match minute, Cerro Largo F. C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rey Polo to maneuver through the defense. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Oinaz Fresnos made the kick off in the second half. Mambru Cotilla took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oinaz Fresnos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of C.A. PADOES booed when Cerro Largo F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xuban Zaitegui didn't get a good kick on the ball. 64 minutes into the match, C.A. PADOES's goal looked a bit too open when Lisandro Titos came free, but Alessandro Paoletti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oinaz Fresnos in the 65th minute of play forced Cerro Largo F. C.'s goalkeeper Mambru Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in C.A. PADOES fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! Rey Polo shot the penalty kick right outside the post. If Pelayo Hernaiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 74 played minutes Cerro Largo F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Xuban Zaitegui. When Pelayo Hernaiz came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the C.A. PADOES fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pelayo Hernaiz couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Cerro Largo F. C. getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Clis Montes hit a great ball. C.A. PADOES made a substitution. Asur Joseph replaced Rodolfo Ruisaez. Alessandro Paoletti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lisandro Titos in the 88th minute of play. Alessandro Paoletti stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lisandro Titos's shot from short distance in the 90th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oinaz Fresnos in the 92nd minute of play forced Cerro Largo F. C.'s goalkeeper Mambru Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97th minute Lisandro Titos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alessandro Paoletti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nemesio Achiaga in the 100th minute of play forced Cerro Largo F. C.'s goalkeeper Mambru Cotilla to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
