Spectators: 6711 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1711, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Lore Araico kicked off to start the match. If Lore Araico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th minute, Castel Quiles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niagara Universitario's Harri Casavela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Castel Quiles in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mariscala FC's goalkeeper Izel Leis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gumaro Bendigar in the 11th minute of play forced Mariscala FC's goalkeeper Izel Leis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes, Maxin Beltranilla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mariscala FC and the Niagara Universitario players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Mariscala FC got a freekick which was hit by Maxin Beltranilla. Gumaro Bendigar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 18thth minute of the game Lore Araico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mariscala FC's Izel Leis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lore Araico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izel Leis having to interfere. Izel Leis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gualterio Velandia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Niagara Universitario's Lore Araico nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Izel Leis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Izel Leis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno Caban in the 30th minute of the match. After 33 minutes, Lore Araico made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Mariscala FC's Izel Leis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Izel Leis came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Niagara Universitario's Gumaro Bendigar. But to his dismay, Gumaro Bendigar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. A collision led to Niagara Universitario getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Indar Sosa hit a great ball. After having played for 47 minutes, Lore Araico managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Niagara Universitario's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lore Araico was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Castel Quiles to strike the kick off in the second half. Lore Araico fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izel Leis having to interfere. Nuno Caban might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Izel Leis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nuno Caban ran back to his position shaking his head. When Lore Araico came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Niagara Universitario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lore Araico couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 70 minutes, Lore Araico took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Izel Leis to make any attempt to save it. Lore Araico received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Izel Leis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th play minute Nuno Caban came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Izel Leis. 0-5. Tabor Griego kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yoel Salantes in the 81st minute of play forced Mariscala FC's goalkeeper Izel Leis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariscala FC's Izel Leis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Mariscala FC from getting a goal against them. Niagara Universitario's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
