In the 20th minute, Zeledon Santoni reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Matei Elguera. The goal made the score 2-0. In the 24th minute Zeledon Santoni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Elguera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Intxixu Ordax fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Potencia F.C.'s protests and gave Intxixu Ordax a yellow card for diving instead. In the 25th minute, Intxixu Ordax hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Guillerme Gajardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 31 minutes of play, Chamizo FC's Norberto Ciaran made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matei Elguera was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 35th minute, Reno Ibarrola hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matei Elguera made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Oier Fidalgo sent off a good shot on target. Matei Elguera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Ciaran in the 48th minute of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oliveiro Loro was the one to do the kick off. Potencia F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Reno Ibarrola in the 54th minute. At last the ball reached Hermelando Luciano at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Chamizo FC. 3-1. Matei Elguera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guillerme Gajardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cucao Barricat during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
