After having played for 12 minutes, Hever Espino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Sportivo Cerrito's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hever Espino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 14thth minute of the game Valentim Bracero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Vergara AFC's Marin Prior was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hever Espino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Prior having to interfere. Seguinus Louzara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vicente Madrigal in the 20th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hever Espino got free with Marin Prior in the 23rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gilmar Paez kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Pero Guruzeta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute, Gilmar Paez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vicente Madrigal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Valentim Bracero to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Pero Guruzeta recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Seguinus Louzara. Pero Guruzeta showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. After 63 minutes, Karmel Iribarren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Sportivo Cerrito and the Vergara AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Club Sportivo Cerrito's Karmel Iribarren got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Seguinus Louzara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vicente Madrigal in the 65th minute. If Vicente Madrigal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 72nd minute, Pero Guruzeta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
