The audience thought a goal was coming when Loi Mendiune got free with Nastasio Blea in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alberto Spencer was extremely unlucky when he, in the 71st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nastasio Blea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Spencer in the 71st minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Loi Mendiune in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nastasio Blea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Barros Arrocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th match minute, Nicunihue Futbol Clú was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Odilon Cañellas to maneuver through the defense. Nicunihue Futbol Clú's Hermogenes Hernández played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elequemedo Pato in the 83rd minute of play. After 87th play minutes Alberto Spencer shot 2-4, a short shot which went by Nastasio Blea and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Durazno getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Josias Pardelas hit a great ball. Loi Mendiune could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 98th minute of the match, but Nastasio Blea made a huge save. When the match was over Nicunihue Futbol Clú could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Durazno throughout the match.
