Bazkoare Pardeo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 19th minute, Bazkoare Pardeo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Liher Pantojas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Salto's Eustaquio Dolfos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Weterio Lugardo in the 23rd minute of play. Theobald Labandera took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Liher Pantojas. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Su Sorondo got free with Liher Pantojas in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
