Spectators: 7354 (Terracing: 5516, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Juango Garviras kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Vallino in the 5th minute of play forced Albisu's goalkeeper Frascuelo Murcia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 14 minutes, Cordarryl Barcelo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Albisu and the C. A. Peñarol players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frascuelo Murcia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leon Vallino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Frascuelo Murcia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cordaro Meca went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Albisu's Frascuelo Murcia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Albisu from getting a goal against them. Caetano Soria sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C. A. Peñarol's Rocendo Iturriaga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juango Garviras in the 29th minute of play. A collision led to C. A. Peñarol getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Caetano Soria hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Juango Garviras in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rocendo Iturriaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Brais Corneja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brais Corneja fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rocendo Iturriaga having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leon Vallino to make the kick off. Rocendo Iturriaga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juango Garviras in the 51st minute of play. When Juango Garviras came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Albisu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juango Garviras couldn't finish the play. Frascuelo Murcia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cordaro Meca in the 61st minute of play. Cordaro Meca blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Frascuelo Murcia having to make a save. 68 minutes into the match, C. A. Peñarol's goal looked a bit too open when Juango Garviras came free, but Rocendo Iturriaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rocendo Iturriaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juango Garviras, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Albisu's Brais Corneja slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rocendo Iturriaga. That made the score 1-2 after 82 minutes of play. 86 minutes into the match, C. A. Peñarol's goal looked a bit too open when Juango Garviras came free, but Rocendo Iturriaga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, C. A. Peñarol's Gartxot Tosantos got a free kick in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Albisu eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
