Aguada AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Martinote AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Aguada AFC's Urtzi Portela got a free kick in the 30th minute. Conrado Termiñon charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Conrado Termiñon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Martinote AFC's Anselmo Güerga got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aguada AFC's Xalbador Lastras couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Martinote AFC. After 44 played minutes Martinote AFC got a freekick which was hit by Palos Almeida. Montel Jurado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Salvator Pedrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Salvator Pedrero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Montel Jurado in the 47th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Eutropio Fabelo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Tonio Borrero made a huge save.
