Penarol AFC:s Ekaitz Vecilla showed great skill when he stopped Loi Zaldua:s penalty. 17 minutes into the match, Loi Zaldua notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Penarol AFC's Ekaitz Vecilla. Ekaitz Vecilla was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vimaro Gostioz struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Ekaitz Vecilla didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garibaldi AFC. Dolfos Vardeci scored 0-3 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ekaitz Vecilla, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dolfos Vardeci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ekaitz Vecilla having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, Penarol AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vimaro Gostioz came free, but Ekaitz Vecilla reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janpier Vidania kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nalo Fano in the 47th minute of play forced Garibaldi AFC's goalkeeper Odol Zuaza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Penarol AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Garibaldi AFC were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nalo Fano to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, Garibaldi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Payon to maneuver through the defense. Nalo Fano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Odol Zuaza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nalo Fano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Penarol AFC's Demario Izmendi was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Odol Zuaza in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Dolfos Vardeci received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Ekaitz Vecilla tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ekaitz Vecilla showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dolfos Vardeci in the 77th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Penarol AFC's Demario Izmendi got a free kick in the 77th minute. Ekaitz Vecilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dolfos Vardeci in the 80th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Garibaldi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Lorencio Cuquejo. The Penarol AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Garibaldi AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Garibaldi AFC.
