Vimaro Gostioz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 9th match minute, Garibaldi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Loi Zaldua to maneuver through the defense. Rik Pi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Odol Zuaza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brion Matanza's late challenge caught a Garibaldi AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brion Matanza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 15th match minute, Miguelete FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brion Matanza to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rik Pi in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Odol Zuaza saved Garibaldi AFC from getting behind. Ximeno Darripe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odol Zuaza having to interfere. The supporters of Miguelete FC booed when Garibaldi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mauricio Payon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Beturian Fontao, 31 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 33rd minute of the match Errolan Tato shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Odol Zuaza showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Vimaro Gostioz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Beila Monterroso made a huge save. Dolfos Vardeci sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dolfos Vardeci in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beila Monterroso saved Miguelete FC from getting behind. Garibaldi AFC's Vimaro Gostioz got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garibaldi AFC's Odol Zuaza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ximeno Darripe in the 46th minute of play. Dolfos Vardeci in the 47thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Beila Monterroso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rik Pi was the one to do the kick off. Chano Alsua charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Chano Alsua the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Garibaldi AFC booed when Miguelete FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chano Alsua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vimaro Gostioz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Odol Zuaza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rik Pi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ximeno Darripe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Rik Pi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The supporters of Miguelete FC booed when Garibaldi AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rocio Quejana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rik Pi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Odol Zuaza having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Vimaro Gostioz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beila Monterroso was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Dolfos Vardeci fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beila Monterroso having to interfere. Dolfos Vardeci struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Beila Monterroso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Garibaldi AFC. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
