Chorache Canellas was out of position in the 21 minute of play, and Iruinea Larren capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Iruinea Larren really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. Chorache Canellas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iruinea Larren, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. If Eli Cogollor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Miguez's zone, Ciro Merodo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chorache Canellas came out of the goal and Ciro Merodo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iruinea Larren was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Miguez's zone, Ciro Merodo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Chorache Canellas came out of the goal and Ciro Merodo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Procopio Bien managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miguez's supporters rose to their feet, but Procopio Bien was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rius Lavandera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Gardel FC's Aznaro Garate got a free kick in the 57th minute. The supporters of Gardel FC booed when Miguez was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lop Sendin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Ciro Merodo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gardel FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Ciro Merodo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Lia Cerrabe was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Miguez's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gardel FC the free kick. Rius Lavandera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miguez. Laurentzi Jubera lost his temper 92 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 92nd minute of the game. One of Gardel FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Miguez:s goal. When the match had been going on for 95 minutes, Miguez's Gitano Sarro got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rius Lavandera. Miguez's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
