Spectators: 6712 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1712, VIP seats: 0) Larrañaga's Victorino Villamañan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nayely Vana in the 11th minute of play forced Libertad AFC's goalkeeper Su Luina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Larrañaga's Iker Tazon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dionisio Hormilla in the 15th minute of play. When Larrañaga's Victorino Villamañan in 18 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Su Luina guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. Iker Tazon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dionisio Hormilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Libertad AFC's Alvaro Barbero got a free kick in the 23rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorino Villamañan in the 25th minute of play forced Libertad AFC's goalkeeper Su Luina to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Su Luina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Villamañan in the 28th minute of the match. Bahiano Bolaños hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Su Luina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Villamañan in the 34th minute of play. If Victorino Villamañan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dionisio Hormilla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dionisio Hormilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Dionisio Hormilla sped through Larrañaga's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iker Tazon. Nayely Vana could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Su Luina made a huge save. Libertad AFC's Abelardo Barzurqueta got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Alvaro Barbero fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Libertad AFC's protests and gave Alvaro Barbero a yellow card for diving instead. In the 64th match minute, Libertad AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvaro Barbero to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 66 minutes, Nayely Vana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Larrañaga's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nayely Vana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorino Villamañan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Dionisio Hormilla managed to get in a good position for a shot. Libertad AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dionisio Hormilla was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Tazon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Barzurqueta in the 73rd minute of play forced Larrañaga's goalkeeper Iker Tazon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Tazon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abelardo Barzurqueta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Larrañaga's Bizi Pola got a free kick in the 75th minute. Su Luina showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victorino Villamañan in the 79th minute of the match. If Abelardo Barzurqueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. Iker Tazon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. A collision led to Larrañaga getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Mon Durante hit a great ball. Tolino Ciencabrero, 87 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Abelardo Barzurqueta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Libertad AFC had won after a very even match.
