Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Manga's Israel Caldeiro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Union FC's Gentza Abalos was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Erasto Cereceda in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Union FC's Gauargi Macias in the 6th minute got a chance for a shot 6th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manga's goalie prevented a goal. Gentza Abalos's late challenge caught a Manga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gentza Abalos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 11th minute, Baumar Ribalta sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Union FC's Xacobo Orejas didn't even have to move. Xerardo Palmero charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xerardo Palmero the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Union FC got a freekick which was hit by Xerardo Palmero. When Xerardo Palmero was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 14 minutes had been played. In the 16th minute, Xerardo Palmero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Erubiel Bañuelos got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Monte Cuebas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xacobo Orejas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erubiel Bañuelos in the 23rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Erubiel Bañuelos got free with Xacobo Orejas in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the match, Manga's goal looked a bit too open when Argenis Sarantes came free, but Erasto Cereceda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, Manga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monico Perdomo to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Argenis Sarantes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gauargi Macias recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Loramendi Larrea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Argenis Sarantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Argenis Sarantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Erasto Cereceda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Argenis Sarantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

In the 53rd minute, Erubiel Bañuelos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manga fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Erubiel Bañuelos struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Xacobo Orejas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manga. Monte Cuebas kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Xacobo Orejas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erubiel Bañuelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Manga's goalkeeper Erasto Cereceda, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Erasto Cereceda made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Argenis Sarantes sent off a good shot on target. Argenis Sarantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Erasto Cereceda made a huge save. Erubiel Bañuelos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xacobo Orejas having to interfere. If Argenis Sarantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Erasto Cereceda made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Argenis Sarantes sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Union FC's Gauargi Macias got a free kick in the 80th minute. 81 minutes into the match, Manga's Baumar Ribalta broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Erasto Cereceda made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Argenis Sarantes sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Manga's Erasto Cereceda got control of the ball when Argenis Sarantes tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gauargi Macias got free with Erasto Cereceda in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 89th minute, Monico Perdomo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loramendi Larrea kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match.
