The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Eudoxio Iros was out of position in the 3 minute of play, and Alberto Guiza capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Alberto Guiza really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cordairo Balanza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eudoxio Iros having to interfere. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Paysandu's goalkeeper Eudoxio Iros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alberto Guiza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eudoxio Iros read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Alberto Guiza scored 2-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eudoxio Iros, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Warriors FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Liher Binas hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Colas Autran shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ermegildo Peralta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cordairo Balanza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Guiza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eudoxio Iros having to interfere. When Alberto Guiza came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Warriors FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Guiza couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Guiza in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eudoxio Iros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Paysandu getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Gonzalo Irizar hit a great ball. Alberto Guiza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eudoxio Iros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cordairo Balanza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Eudoxio Iros made a huge save. After 46 minutes, Guerau Coria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paysandu and the Warriors FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Eudoxio Iros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Guiza in the 53rd minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Liher Binas during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Paysandu's Eudoxio Iros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Guiza in the 63rd minute of play. Colas Autran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ermegildo Peralta having to interfere. Ciriaco Alfaro kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Eudoxio Iros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cordairo Balanza went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cordairo Balanza in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eudoxio Iros saved Paysandu from getting behind. Cordairo Balanza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Eudoxio Iros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eudoxio Iros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Guiza in the 80th minute of play. A collision led to Paysandu getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gartzen Cases hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Alberto Guiza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Warriors FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When Gomez Foronda came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Paysandu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gomez Foronda couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Paysandu players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Warriors FC.
