The audience was convinced that Berriotxoa Sedan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Yiyo Carrera was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Elizardo Legarda hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Burni Ronda charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Burni Ronda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Club Yale booed when Piamontesa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Burni Ronda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute, Club Yale's Etor Abadie dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Ildephonso Saladrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chorache Bizoso in the 38th minute of the match. Burni Ronda kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Berriotxoa Sedan took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Yiyo Carrera. Yiyo Carrera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Club Yale made a substitution. Burni Alaiza replaced Bernard Wander. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustau Montane in the 75th minute of play forced Piamontesa's goalkeeper Ildephonso Saladrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, Piamontesa's Yiyo Carrera threw himself towards the right post 99 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Estevam Robredo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Club Yale had played much better football throughout.
