After 6 minutes, Bahiano Cuadrillero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Polanco and the Gin Gunns players grew even worse after the yellow card. 6 minutes into the game, one of Polanco:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 8th minute there was a penalty for Gin Gunns. Totakoxe Ardanza stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jakes Tegerina. 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, Armando Tubia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Rodney Santervas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Meendez Paliza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Meendez Paliza in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rodney Santervas saved Gin Gunns from getting behind. Meendez Paliza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Rodney Santervas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Meendez Paliza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rodney Santervas. Gin Gunns's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Meendez Paliza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 26th minute Santo Cuenia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jakes Tegerina saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Polanco's Armando Tubia sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rodney Santervas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 32 minutes into the game, Polanco's Armando Tubia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rodney Santervas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Jakes Tegerina took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santo Cuenia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Polanco defense, Chale Cuaron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jakes Tegerina. The Polanco fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jakes Tegerina should have stopped the shot. In the 44th match minute, Gin Gunns was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Totakoxe Ardanza to maneuver through the defense. Chale Cuaron struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jakes Tegerina didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gin Gunns. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

The wind increased when Armando Tubia made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gin Gunns's zone, Armando Tubia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodney Santervas came out of the goal and Armando Tubia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 55 minutes into the game, Santo Cuenia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-3. Jakes Tegerina was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armando Tubia in the 59th minute of play forced Gin Gunns's goalkeeper Rodney Santervas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Santana Borica hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Jeraldo Villagomez kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Polanco's Jakes Tegerina played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santo Cuenia in the 71st minute of play. After 78 played minutes Polanco got a freekick which was hit by Bahiano Cuadrillero. In the 80th minute of the match Totakoxe Ardanza sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jakes Tegerina skillfully saved the ball. 81 minutes into the game, Yoel Cabezas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Polanco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gin Gunns the free kick. In the 81st match minute, Polanco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yoel Cabezas to maneuver through the defense. 82 minutes into the match, Polanco's goal looked a bit too open when Santo Cuenia came free, but Jakes Tegerina reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Armando Tubia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Armando Tubia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Rodney Santervas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jakes Tegerina made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santo Cuenia in the 88th minute of play. Armando Tubia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodney Santervas having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
