Peio Aujea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joanes Borbolla in the 33rd minute of the match. When Savion Calderero came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Fernandez fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Savion Calderero couldn't finish the play. Joanes Borbolla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Peio Aujea having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Fernandez's goal looked a bit too open when Ellande Sagarribay came free, but Samuel Leturia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Nafarroa Correa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Samuel Leturia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Tacuarembo FC's Peio Aujea got control of the ball when Joanes Borbolla tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolado Urtueta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joanes Borbolla got free with Peio Aujea in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Peio Aujea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Monico Hondona in the 78th minute. In the 80th minute, Joanes Borbolla ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Peio Aujea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
