In the 15th minute Froilan Altamirano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Porlier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Ilixo Principe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Maurilio Montiel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gartzea Nicolas having to interfere. After a rather tough play, El Mas Malo FC's Chorache Llamazares got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Cresenciano Ocejo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute, Erubiel Sarasua hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute of the match Eneas Mon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nestor Porlier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Froilan Altamirano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nestor Porlier having to interfere. In the 39th minute, Rolon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Maurilio Montiel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 41st minute Ilixo Principe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nestor Porlier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zavior Yañez's late challenge caught a El Mas Malo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zavior Yañez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of El Mas Malo FC booed when Rolon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zavior Yañez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Celipe Manaut to strike the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Rolon defense, Celipe Manaut kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gartzea Nicolas. The Rolon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gartzea Nicolas should have stopped the shot. Ilixo Principe might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nestor Porlier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ilixo Principe ran back to his position shaking his head. Froilan Altamirano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Maurilio Montiel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rolon's goalkeeper Gartzea Nicolas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 79 minutes into the game, Maurilio Montiel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Gartzea Nicolas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celipe Manaut in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gartzea Nicolas saved Rolon from getting behind. After some careless play in the Rolon defense, Maurilio Montiel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gartzea Nicolas. The Rolon fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gartzea Nicolas should have stopped the shot. The supporters of El Mas Malo FC booed when Rolon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Altamirano didn't get a good kick on the ball. There was no doubt that El Mas Malo FC were the better team. El Mas Malo FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
