Fernendo Villatreses tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Piedritas's Fernendo Villatreses played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zayvion Ontañon in the 43rd minute of play. Laffitte Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernendo Villatreses having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Zayvion Ontañon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Mirotaun's Aurre Portocarrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ritchie Loredo in the 71st minute of play. Zayvion Ontañon in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernendo Villatreses, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fernendo Villatreses prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zayvion Ontañon who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Fernendo Villatreses when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 90 minutes, Zayvion Ontañon made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Piedritas's Fernendo Villatreses tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute Ritchie Loredo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurre Portocarrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mirotaun played a much better game than Piedritas and deserved their victory. The Piedritas players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
