Arenal AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lastur Telleria was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Arenal AFC's Xacintu Sauca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baristo Vigalondo in the 36th minute of play. Vazquez's Lalla Tabernilla got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 41 minutes of play, Vazquez's Lalla Tabernilla made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Xacintu Sauca was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, Vazquez's Christovao Varona got a free kick in the 45th minute. The Arenal AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Vazquez were winning 0-2.

A collision led to Vazquez getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Christovao Varona hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lastur Telleria in the 75th minute of play forced Arenal AFC's goalkeeper Xacintu Sauca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Baristo Vigalondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Xacintu Sauca made a huge save. Vazquez's Eguntsenti Reguero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Zaldua in the 88th minute of play. The Vazquez players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
