The tension between the Egana and the Melo players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rexino Ruedas hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 7thth minute of the game Emanuel Reguero who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Egana's Piearres Seto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Estevez Galindo got free with Txanton Trillanes in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Egana's Rexino Ruedas got a free kick in the 10th minute. Piearres Seto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Reguero in the 14th minute of the match. Txanton Trillanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Garcia Pachon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 20 minutes, Toro Jane mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Melo and the Egana players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Melo's Toro Jane got a free kick in the 20th minute. A collision led to Melo getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Emanuel Reguero hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Donio Bacon in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Piearres Seto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Emanuel Reguero struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Piearres Seto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Melo. After 31 minutes of play Egana's Rexino Ruedas was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Zabal Carrio took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Piearres Seto. Egana's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 34th minute Emanuel Reguero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Piearres Seto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piearres Seto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donio Bacon, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. Piearres Seto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Donio Bacon in the 45th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Emanuel Reguero made a kick off. Piearres Seto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Reguero, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. In the 56th play minute Donio Bacon came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Piearres Seto. 0-1. After having played for 63 minutes, Emanuel Reguero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Melo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Reguero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 70th minute, Estevez Galindo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Donio Bacon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Egana getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Garcia Pachon hit a great ball. Zabal Carrio shot from long distance in the 78th minute, but Piearres Seto was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. Emanuel Reguero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 87 minutes, Emanuel Reguero took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Piearres Seto to make any attempt to save it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Melo walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
