Eduardo Lomas came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Riffo's Alberto Zahonero. But to his dismay, Alberto Zahonero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 12 played minutes Riffo got a freekick which was hit by Servando Maeztu. 董星宽 struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Inaki Cuyar didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Deportivo Saca Chispa. In the 15th minute, Elodio Tomas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Lomas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cheche Nicola, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Zahonero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when 董星宽 got free with Inaki Cuyar in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inaki Cuyar made an important save on a dangerous shot by 董星宽 in the 33rd minute. After the first half Riffo were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Zahonero to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Cheche Nicola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Riffo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cheche Nicola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Inaki Cuyar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 董星宽, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Sasoin Villaverde fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Lomas having to interfere. After some careless play in the Deportivo Saca Chispa defense, Cheche Nicola kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduardo Lomas. The Deportivo Saca Chispa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduardo Lomas should have stopped the shot. After 64 played minutes Riffo got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Pedolles. Nicasio Surga received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Eduardo Lomas came out and tried to block the shot, but Nicasio Surga slotted it home off the left post making it 1-6 in the 70th minute. Inaki Cuyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 董星宽 in the 73rd minute of play. Inaki Cuyar stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 董星宽's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. When Deportivo Saca Chispa's 董星宽 in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Riffo's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Elodio Tomas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Deportivo Saca Chispa's supporters rose to their feet, but Elodio Tomas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inaki Cuyar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 董星宽 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Inaki Cuyar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Lomas made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Sasoin Villaverde sent off a good shot on target. Riffo's Inaki Cuyar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Polo Comillas in the 88th minute of play. Xarles Sandin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Inaki Cuyar. Riffo's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Inaki Cuyar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 董星宽 in the 90th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Alberto Zahonero fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 94 minutes into the match, Polo Comillas notched a goal, 2-6, to the right of Riffo's Inaki Cuyar. Inaki Cuyar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Riffo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
