When Laurendi Urquioja came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Palmitas FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurendi Urquioja couldn't finish the play. Feliciano Morell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izel Lozano having to interfere. After 14 played minutes Los Revolcadores got a freekick which was hit by Lano Obarenes. Amadeo Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurendi Urquioja in the 18th minute of play. Urbano Betanzos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 25 minutes, Pelayo Cardenas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmitas FC and the Los Revolcadores players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Palmitas FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Pelayo Cardenas hit a great ball. After having played for 26 minutes, Urbano Betanzos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Revolcadores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Urbano Betanzos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Laurendi Urquioja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Cainzos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 35 minutes, Feliciano Morell managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Revolcadores's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliciano Morell was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Izel Lozano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Urbano Betanzos's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Feliciano Morell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Los Revolcadores's supporters rose to their feet, but Feliciano Morell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Izel Lozano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute Urbano Betanzos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Izel Lozano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnulfo Cainzos to strike the kick off in the second half. Los Revolcadores's Amadeo Cruz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Los Revolcadores from getting a goal against them. 56 minutes into the game, Los Revolcadores's Feliciano Morell nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Izel Lozano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After some careless play in the Los Revolcadores defense, Laurendi Urquioja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amadeo Cruz. The Los Revolcadores fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amadeo Cruz should have stopped the shot. 63 minutes into the game, Andres Vilas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmitas FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Revolcadores the free kick. A collision led to Palmitas FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Andres Vilas hit a great ball. Amadeo Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Laurendi Urquioja in the 67th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurendi Urquioja in the 71st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amadeo Cruz saved Los Revolcadores from getting behind. 73 minutes into the match, Palmitas FC's Arnulfo Cainzos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amadeo Cruz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the last second Amadeo Cruz throw himself and got hold of the ball when Arnulfo Cainzos in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. After 78 minutes of play, Palmitas FC's Laurendi Urquioja made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Amadeo Cruz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Feliciano Morell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Izel Lozano having to interfere. Urbano Betanzos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Los Revolcadores's Feliciano Morell in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Palmitas FC's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Feliciano Morell in the 87th minute of play forced Palmitas FC's goalkeeper Izel Lozano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Palmitas FC's goal looked a bit too open when Feliciano Morell came free, but Izel Lozano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
