Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andre Cue started the match with the kick off. Ourente Carradelo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anaya Capistrano, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Ourente Carradelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anaya Capistrano in the 7th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Andre Cue shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isauro Bermejo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Durazno FC booed when Canelones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raebert Golpe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anaya Capistrano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ourente Carradelo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. Andre Cue could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Isauro Bermejo made a huge save. 27 minutes into the match, Durazno FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Arostegui came free, but Ourente Carradelo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Canelones FC booed when Durazno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txilar Elberdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th match minute, Durazno FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Quintan Añel to maneuver through the defense. Damian Arostegui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Porfiro Sevilla took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isauro Bermejo. Isauro Bermejo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Anaya Capistrano made the kick off in the second half. Durazno FC's Ourente Carradelo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Durazno FC from getting a goal against them. After 54 minutes, Txilar Elberdin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Durazno FC and the Canelones FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Canelones FC booed when Durazno FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Txilar Elberdin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Arostegui recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ourente Carradelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anaya Capistrano in the 58th minute of the match. Ourente Carradelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anaya Capistrano in the 62nd minute of play. Porfiro Sevilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Isauro Bermejo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Goito Manzanos hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anaya Capistrano in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ourente Carradelo saved Durazno FC from getting behind. A collision led to Canelones FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Bidari Rosello hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Damian Arostegui hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 84 minutes into the match, Porfiro Sevilla notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Canelones FC's Isauro Bermejo. Isauro Bermejo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the match had gone on for 90 minutes, Anaya Capistrano took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ourente Carradelo to make any attempt to save it. After 96 played minutes Canelones FC got a freekick which was hit by Raebert Golpe. Higinio Leis, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Canelones FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
