In the 41stth minute of the game Fernandão Trevisan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Salamanca AFC's Urbasa Lemus was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Urbasa Lemus showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fernandão Trevisan, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After 53 played minutes Salamanca AFC got a freekick which was hit by Raulo Roches. Balendin Cicero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
